This novel was probably written during the eighties and discovered with Eluned Phillips’s papers after her death in 2009. She was reluctant to publish the novel as she considered it an autobiographical novel about her romantic relationship with a Breton nationalist during the second world war. The novel deserves to be read to a wide audience as it demonstrates Eluned’s ability as a novelist as well as that of a renowned poet. Honno Press, 2021.
